Another murder case has been registered against Sheikh Hasina in connection with the firing of anti-discrimination student-mob movement. Recently this case was registered in Dhaka Savar police station. Apart from this, two petitions have been filed in the court against Sheikh Hasina for allegedly killing two more youths in Badda and Uttara areas of the capital. Apart from this, the accusation of killing a student has been submitted to the International Criminal Tribunal.
The Awami League government led by Sheikh Hasina fell on August 5 in a student uprising. On August 15, the first case against Sheikh Hasina was filed in Dhaka court. Since then, at least 222 cases have been reported against him. Of these, 190 cases have been charged with murder.
Savar student shot dead
A case has been filed against 143 people, including former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, in the murder of Nafisa Hussain, a student of Sahajuddin Sarkar Model School and College, Gazipur. Recently, Nafisa's father Abul Hossain filed this case in Savar police station as the plaintiff. It is mentioned in the statement of the case that Nafisa came to Savar's house on August 1. Anti-discrimination students marched in front of Savar Masjid Model Complex on August 5 at noon. Nafisa participated in the procession. Then 142 people attacked Ashulia police station Awami League organizing secretary Rafiqul Islam. The accused fired from shotguns, pistols and various types of domestic and foreign firearms. The bullet hit Nafisa's chest.
Young man shot in Fulbaria's chest
A case has been filed against Sheikh Hasina and 26 people for allegedly shooting a youth named Moniruzzaman Molla (26) in front of Fulbaria market in the capital. Moniruzzaman's sister Nilufar Yasmin filed the case in Dhaka's Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (CMM) court.
It has been alleged in the RG of the case that Moniruzzaman was shot dead in front of Fulbaria Market at around 5 pm on August 5 during an anti-discrimination student rally.
Apart from Sheikh Hasina, former Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan, former Inspector General of Police Chowdhury Abdullah Al-Mamun, former DMP Commissioner Habibur Rahman, former DMP Intelligence Chief Habibur Rahman have been accused in the case.
Badda youth shot dead
A case against 128 people, including Sheikh Hasina, has been filed in Dhaka's Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (CMM) court for allegedly shooting dead a youth named Badda Sha Alam (42) in the capital. Sha Alam's brother Mizanur Rahman applied on Wednesday. The court directed the OC of the concerned police station to submit a report regarding whether a regular case has been filed in the police station regarding the death incident. After receiving the police report, the court will order the case.
According to the RG of the case, around 10 pm on July 18, the students were marching near Aftab Nagar Gate on the north side of Rampura Bridge. Sha Alam was returning home by that way. At that time, the local Awami League, Jubo League, Bangladesh Chhatra League and the police started attacking the students and firing indiscriminately. Then Shah Alam was shot.
Uttara youth shot dead
A petition has been filed in the court against 183 people, including Sheikh Hasina, on the charge of shooting dead a person named Uttara Ziaur Rahman (42) of the capital. Shahnaz Akhtar filed this application in Dhaka CMM court on Wednesday. The court ordered the OC of the concerned police station to inform whether there was any case before this incident or not.
It is mentioned in the RG of the case, on August 5, around 3:30 pm, there was an anti-discrimination student-crowd march at Rabindra Sarani Amir Complex, Sector 3 of Uttara Paschim Police Station. Then Uttara West Thana Awami League vice-president Alauddin Al Sohail shot at the local Awami League, Jubo League, Bangladesh Chhatra League, student procession. Then Mizanur Rahman who was in the procession was shot.
Allegation of student murder in tribunal
The grandfather of the deceased student filed a complaint against 25 people, including former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, at the Office of the Chief Prosecutor of the International Criminal Tribunal for the killing of Class 10 student Anas in the capital's Chankharpul on August 5.
Apart from this, a complaint has been filed against the Awami League and 14 affiliated political parties as direct instigators of the massacre. Prosecutor of the tribunal Gazi MH Tamim said that these two complaints were filed on Wednesday.
